The popularity of Grass-fed beef has risen substantially in the last couple years now that more health-conscious people are buying and consuming it. Cows are ruminants which means they have stomachs designed for breaking down the cellulose in omega-3 rich grasses while our stomach does not. Grass-fed cows have more omega-3 fats in their meat, tend to have less overall fat, and lower saturated fat when compared to grain-fed cows.
When it comes to meatballs most people prefer to add eggs and or bread to their meatball mixture in order to help bind the ingredients. In this simple recipe, the meat itself will hold everything together naturally.
